For the month of September, the area has seen 128 ‘new’ instructions come to market with an overall sales count of 91 units going SSTC, a slight drop from the 110 sales delivered in the area for the month of August.
Over the last twelve months, the most common type of property to be sold in the area, is semi-detached which fetch an ‘average’ price of £134,000; detached properties achieve an average sale price of £226,000 whilst terrace homes sell for an average of £115,000.
Statistics show that Thornton is marginally more expensive to make home than Cleveleys, however, a considerable amount more expensive than it would be to purchase in the neighbouring town of Bispham, where currently, the average property price sits at a reasonable £127,000.
